Years ago, I worked for Nikki Sixx. He had many cars, but the one he wanted me to drive his kids around in was a big, black suburban with flames on the side. I remember thinking, "You can't be serious. You have more money than most African nations and you can't get me a decently painted car to drive your progeny around in." But then, he's not really known for his brains.

Maybe he was protecting his family because everyone knows that a vehicle with flames painted on it is faster than the non-flame painted.
Faster, perhaps. Safer, no. Geekier, definitely.
